The Gryphon I linear imaging readers provide advanced reading performance and decoding for a wide variety of applications. The Gryphon GD4100 readers’ ability to capture bar codes from near contact to over 1.0 m / 3.9 ft increases productivity and improves ergonomics for users. A wide scan angle reads very wide codes and renewed decoding capabilities increase throughput on hard-to-read, poor or damaged codes. GRYPHON GD4100-HC
The GD4100-HC models have an industry sealing rating of IP52 to protect sensitive electronic components from contact with dust and liquids. Sanitized plastics offer additional protection from routine cleaning and disinfection from specialized cleaning solutions used by the healthcare industry. Products withstand repeated drops from 1.5 m / 5.0 ft. to ensure uninterrupted activity despite the inevitable accidental drops and rough handling.
The Gryphon I GD4100-HC reader includes the patented Datalogic ‘Green Spot’ for good read/perfect match feedback, ideal for situations where the perfect match can offer a simple, additional tool to avoid errors. 2D
Designed with people in mind, the Gryphon™ I GD4400 imager blends advanced 2D reading with motion sensing technology, producing a user-friendly device with outstanding performance.
Perfect for both handheld and presentation reading, the Gryphon I GD4400 imager features Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology which detects the natural actions of the operator to automatically switch the scanner into the desired scanning mode. This technology works with or without the use of a stand, offering more operational choices. Both the aimer and sensor can be programmed to the user’s desired preferences.
User comfort is maximized with the Gryphon I GD4400 imager’s steady, deep red illumination light. Easier on the eyes than competitive products with flicker illumination, the highly visible 4-Dot aimer defines a precise reading zone and reduces accidental reads. The aimer’s center cross provides a locator for targeted scanning in a multiple bar code environment.

Featuring Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology, the Gryphon I GD4400-B imager senses the actions of the operator to automatically switch the device into handheld or presentation mode scanning. When picked up or set down, Motionix technology transitions the device seamlessly, eliminating the need to scan a label or rely on a mechanical switch.

Enhanced optics offer improved motion tolerance and high speed imaging to read fast moving codes as well as the ability to capture images such as signatures, complete IDs or prescriptions.

With rich feature sets and extensive model options, the Gryphon™ product series from Datalogic Scanning represents the premium level of data collection equipment for general purpose applications.
For customers who want the high performance associated with laser scanning technology, the Gryphon GD4300 scanner is an ideal solution providing longer reading distances, snappy performance with a bright, well-defined scan line. Poor quality bar codes and low contrast labels with bad edge definition are not a problem for this Gryphon scanner, plus Datalogic’s patented Green Spot provides visual good-read feedback directly on the code, allowing for fast and accurate scanning which is especially useful in noisy environments or in places where “beep-free” reading is desired.
The scanner’s stylish enclosure, light weight and compact size make it perfect for use in retail and office applications. Light industrial users will appreciate the scanners toughness. Its rubber-like overmold cushions the scanner when dropped, protects the scan window and prevents the scanner from slipping off counter surfaces. Featuring an IP52 sealing rating, its strong enclosure guards against dust and liquid spills, and anti-shock mounts provide additional protection for the internal scan engine and optics.
